ONLINE PAYMENT TERMSTo ensure a secure transaction, only personal credit or debit cards should be used for online payments. The service may not be granted if payment is made using someone else's card.
PRIVACY PRACTICESAt our company, we prioritize providing a seamless and hassle-free digital booking process for our customers. When booking through our platform, we collect necessary information such as name, email address, and mobile number to ensure accurate order delivery. Additionally, for car rental bookings, we require customers to submit necessary documents for registration purposes. Rest assured that we do not store payment data as full payment is processed securely by our payment gateway partner and respective banks.
INVOICING AND PAYMENT PROCEDURESRental periods are calculated based on 24 hours, meaning a one-day rental starting at 9 am should be returned by 9 am the following day. Any delay, such as returning the car at 5 pm the next day, will result in an additional day's charge. Invoices are issued on the day of car pickup, and full payment must be settled immediately as a prepayment. For extension of rental agreements, customers must notify us at least 12 hours in advance. Extensions must be paid in advance to validate the extension.
CANCELLATION POLICYOnce the rental payment is processed, bookings cannot be canceled. We regret to inform that no refunds can be issued once the car is reserved.
DRIVERS AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTSAll drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid international or national (local) license. Please note that some local licenses may not be accepted, and our team will verify the validity of your license prior to rental. Operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited, and any insurance claims resulting from such actions will be denied. It is your responsibility to comply with UAE driving laws.
DELIVERY TERMSDelivery outside Dubai may incur a fee based on the location. The driver must present original valid documents upon receiving the car. Before signing the contract, we recommend capturing a video or photo of the car's current condition. Additionally, a deposit will be held for potential fines or minor damages, with the amount varying depending on the car.
USAGE RESTRICTIONSSmoking is strictly prohibited in our vehicles, as it damages the vehicles and poses a safety hazard. Violation of this policy may result in a charge of up to AED 500. The car must be returned in the same condition it was received, as any dirt, food leftovers, or stains will result in additional charges. Off-roading, racing, rallying, and drifting are strictly prohibited, including visits to deserts and tracks.
MILEAGE USAGEOur rental offer includes a maximum daily mileage allowance stated in your contract, typically between 200 and 300 km per day, depending on the car. Any additional usage beyond this limit will be charged at a rate of AED (5-25) per kilometer, varying by car.
SALIK (TOLL CHARGE) AND TRAFFIC FINESSalik charges include the toll amount (typically AED 4), a service fee of AED 1, and applicable VAT. Traffic fines will be charged at the actual fine amount, along with a service fee of AED 50 and applicable VAT. Immediate payment of these amounts is required upon notification. If a fine leads to car impoundment, an additional fee ranging from 100 to 6000 AED will apply.
GENERAL TERMSIf the customer is at fault in a car crash, they will be liable to pay a certain amount (listed on the contract) for the car's repair cost, in addition to daily rental charges during the repair period. In case of a crash, whether the customer is at fault or not, the contract will be terminated without refunds or car replacements, and a police report must be filed. Exceeding the speed limit of 160 km/h is not allowed. Multiple violations will result in a charge of 2000 AED on the second attempt, and on the third attempt, the car will be shut down without a refund for the remaining rental period.
Driving in deserts, racing tracks, or engaging in drifting is strictly prohibited. Violation of this policy will incur a charge of 100,000 AED, in addition to the total repair costs for any resulting mechanical failures or damages. Damages to tires are not covered by basic insurance or Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) coverage, and the customer is responsible for the cost of tire repair or replacement. Returning the car before the end of the rental period does not entitle the customer to a refund. A minimum charge of 2,000 AED applies for every scratch found on the car upon return. Additional fees of 3% apply to fines paid by UnitedRentals.ae (United Media LLC FZ) or Rotana Star LLC online, along with a fine surcharge of 70 AED. If two or more of our rental cars are involved in a crash, the contract will be immediately terminated without refunds. CDW insurance coverage will not apply, and each customer will be charged 100,000 AED, in addition to the total repair costs. Applying stickers or wrapping paper on our cars is not permitted. Violation of this policy will result in a charge of 100,000 AED. Customers are responsible for documenting the car's condition through photos/videos during pickup and return. Violation of the above policies may result in contract termination by UnitedRentals.ae (United Media LLC FZ) or Rotana Star LLC.
